31 days of gratitude: {day 31} as our gratitude journey comes to an end….

I’m a little sad that this series is coming to an end tonight.

Writing for 31 days straight always feels so familiar that when it’s time to say goodbye to a it, it almost feels like I’m saying goodbye to an old, familiar friend.

I want to say to all of you who ventured down this road of finding gratitude with me these last 31 days, thank you!

Thank you for reading and praying and learning and growing with me. I have come away from this journey with a renewed sense of appreciation for the gift of gratitude. I hope you have, too.

I hope all of us take what we’ve learned and start applying it to our daily lives. I hope we find gratitude in the little things as well as the big things, too. I hope we find gratitude in our family and friends and in strangers in the grocery store who stop and share their lives with us. Most of all, I hope we find gratitude in the amazing gifts that God gives to each of us to use everyday.

Gratitude isn’t hard to find. We all just need to make a concerted effort to find it and to share it. With a little more gratitude, our lives can be so much richer.

Thanks for walking with me. I hope this “31 Days of Gratitude” series has inspired you. I hope it’s encouraged you. And I hope it’s challenged you, too. It sure has for me!

I’m taking the month of August off for a writing hiatus but I’ll be back to writing in September with Blog Friday’s again! (I will post a fun blog tomorrow for you to enjoy. Let’s just say it’s my ode to August. )

Until then, enjoy the rest of your Summer. Breathe in these glorious hot and sweaty days, spend some time at the beach, take some time to visit an old historic town and find yourself laughing when you spill ice cream down your shirt. Enjoy all the beauty and fun and joy that only Summer can bring!

God bless you all, my friends!  See you in September! XO Jenny
